Sunday, May 14. 2006The Road to Aht Urhgan
I've been hearing alot of talk around Jeuno (even San d'Oria, Windurst, and Bastok for that matter), that the diplomatic relationship with the Aht Urhgan Empire has been getting better. It's gotten so much better in fact, that they've opened their ports to travelers.
 I decided I'd like to take a look at the middle eastern continent of Ardjiah and visit Al Zahbi (the seat of the Aht Urhgan Empire) at least while the opportunity to go is here. In asking fellow adventurers, I found that I could book passage through Faursel of the Tenshodo. Since I'd already become a Tenshodo member some time ago, I went to visit Faursel at the Neptune's Spire Inn in Lower Jeuno.
Faursel said he'd get me a boarding pass, but in true Tenshodo fashion, it was going to cost me. Fortunately, he gave me a few options for payment. One possible payment was six items gained from various beasts in Valkurm Dunes and Burburimu Penninsula. Another payment was three items typically used in Garrison missions. The last option (the "advanced" option) was one of a number of items from some very high level beasts. My brother Sparkkplug offered his help. With him and his Mithra girlfriend Babygirllil, he said it'd be no problem to acquire one of the "advanced" items (in this case, a warrior's testimonial). He was right, with his help it was easy... Without his help, I'd be dead! We made quick work of grabbing the warrior's testimonial from a Goblin in Gustav Tunnel. I returned it to Faursel at Neptune's Spire as soon as I could get back to Jeuno. He told me to come back in a day and he'd have my boarding pass (presumably it would take him that long to forge it). When I came back, Faursel had kept his word and presented me my pass. I'm so excited to visit the Aht Urhgan Empire...
