Titanictus

I caught my first legendary fish today: Titanictus! (actually, I caught three )

I was on the ferry from Selbina to Mahura trying to break clothespole fishing rods so I could practice my woodworking skills by repairing them. Eventually, I ran out of rods so I got out my trusty Lu Shang's rod and with a little bit of meatball bait, I dropped my line into the salty sea.

In a moment, I knew I'd snagged something big. The fish pulled and pulled and almost yanked me overboard. I fought with all my might and finally persevered. I was so proud when I brought the legendary monster up to the deck of the ferry.

People around me were a bit amazed too... They saw me break two clothespoles and not pull up a single fish. They probably thought I was an amateur. Then pow! I pulled up three titanictus' in a row. Jaws dropped and the initiate fisherman stared with wide eyes. What a great day.

I'm really only an apprentice fisherman and I've heard that even the artisan fishermen have a hard time with legendary fish like titanctus. I guess the new moon that day was on my side.

Was I as proud as the day I got my Lu Shang's fishing rod? Well... No. But this was certainly a close second.
