Missions & Quests

With all the necessary key items in hand, it was time for me to set out to obtain the magicite I'd been commissioned to get by the Archduke of Jeuno. I knew that no matter where I went, there would be beastmen capable of knocking me out with only a few blows. Even as a level 39 White Mage, there was no way I could battle these monsters on my own. My Sneak and Invisible spells were going to be my most valuable assets for this mission. With that in mind, I equipped myself with anything that would help my mind and magic.

In Beadeaux, I started shouting for help with my quest to obtain a Quadav Charm and a Quadav Augery Shell. It turns out there was a fellow adventurer there (Level 59 Red Mage) hoping to get just the same items. I asked if he'd like to team up and sure enough, he did.

This adventurer didn't know where to look for the two Notorious Monsters who carry the items we needed. Fortunately, a friend of mine told the names of the fiends and the locations where they are usually seen. With that information, we set out to find and bring down the first of the two: De'Vyu Headhunter.

It wasn't long before another adventurer showed up and decided to join our party (a Level 36 Black Mage). Shortly after we introduced ourselves, I spotted De'Vyu Headhunter (around J-9 on the map). We sprang into action and took him down quickly and efficiently. He dropped a few Quadav Charms and we snatched them up.

After defeating De'Vyu Headhunter, we ventured to F-6 on the map and waited for Go'Bhu Gascon who usually carries Quadav Augery Shells. In no time, we spotted him and took him down too (actually, he was even a little easier than the Headhunter ). We all got a Quadav Augery Shell and after saying our good byes, we parted ways. I headed back to Sattal-Mansa at Tenshodo HQ in Jeuno.

In Upper Jeuno, I found a little girl named Paya-Sabya talking to a Goblin! Of course I rushed to help her but it turned out that she was in no danger and actually seemed to be friends with this Goblin.

I decided to find out who this Goblin was and so I ventured to Muckvix's Junk Shop in Lower Jeuno where I know there are plenty of Goblins. I talked with Muckvix in the back room and found out the Goblin in question was his son.

Seems he was going out to Castle Oztroja and Muckvix was a little worried about him. Muckvix gave me a Yagudo Torch so that I could get into a part of Castle Oztroja too. This was perfect for me since I needed to go to the castle myself.

A friend adventurer of mine said I was almost ready to obtain the magicite and confided that the last two objects I needed could be found in the pockets of some Notorious Monsters of Beadeaux. It seems a trip through Pashow Marshlands was in order!
