The Lost Chocobo Chick

I've been a very caring and loving parent lately, trying to raise my little chocobo chick, HyperionEnd. Aside from simply watching over him and feeding him, I take him out on many short walks in West Ronfaure. The last walk I had, we found a lost chocobo chick and brought him back to Hantileon. After speaking with Hantileon, he said he'd try to find more information on the owner.

A couple of times since then, HyperionEnd and I have met Hantileon and his chocobo chick, Air, on our short walks. Hantileon has been able to find out information about the lost chick's owner. He told me that the owner is a male Elvaan, a San d'Orian watchman, and his name starts with a C. I spent a little while looking around San d'Oria for watchmen whose names start with a 'C'. Fortunately for me, I only found one.

The chick's owner is Cahaurme and I found him on the watchtower above the auction house, over the gate that heads out to East Ronfaure (J-9 on the map). He told me how grateful he was for me finding his lost chocobo. He said he'd been neglecting his watchman duties because instead of watching for Beastman invaders, he's been watching for his chick. If you ask me, he's a terrible watchman and chocobo raiser for even losing the tiny, vulnerable bird in the first place!

As a reward, he provided me with a story that he used to read to his chocobo. The story, entitled: Story of a Diligent Chocobo is Far Eastern tale about a hard working chocobo. I haven't had a chance to read it to little HyperionEnd yet, but when he grows older, I plan on reading him the story.
