Friday, April 22. 2005Healing the Land (Pt 1)
 I visited Eperdur in the Cathedral (M-7 - North San d'Oria) and he has had actually heard of me! He told me of a foul wind that has begun to blow on the Crag of Dem and he feels it is coming from deep within the Gusgen Mine. He asked me if I would replace a banishing seal there to strengthen the barrier. I agreed to his request and he gave me a banishing seal. I headed for the Chocobo stables to rent a bird bound for Konschtat Highlands. When I arrived in Konschtat, I headed straight to Gusgen Mine (L-7 on the map). I realized too late that I didn't have a map for the mine. I decided to make a go of it anyway - I hoped luck would be on my side and help me along. Shortly after entering the mine I got an eerie feeling. That place is filled with negative energy. I ran straight ahead to some stairs and saw a ghostly apparition floating up the stairs. Skeletons, Ghouls and Wights were everywhere! I decided to go Invisible and Sneak my way around.Too soon my sneak spell wore off and I was viciously attacked by many undead! I was knocked out and I had to return home to San d'Oria. This wasn't going to be as easy as I thought!
