Acting in Good Faith

I spoke to Gantineux at the Hostlery in Windurst Waters (E-10 on the map) and he asked me to go to Eldieme Necropolis and light some spirit incense. This seemed an easy request and one I would gladly do so I took the quest.

I went to Batallia Downs and tried the entrance to the Necropolis at G-7 on the map. All of the candles there were burning fine. I tried entrances at H-7 and I-6 also, but there was no place for me to light the incense. I was getting tired and annoyed when I realized another possible entrance here in Batallia Downs. Unfortunately, the entrance I'd thought of could only be accessed via Ranguemont Pass and Beaucedine Glacier! Unfortunately, I do not own maps for those places, but I felt I had to try anyway.

It was rough going but I made it through and was able to find the entrance in north-west Batallia Downs at the south-west corner of F-5 on the map. I entered the Necropolis and found a place to light the incense. Unfortunately, it failed to light and instead produced a foul odor.

I returned to Gantineux who appologized and asked that I talk to Eperdur (whom I've met a couple times. I did as was requested and for my effort, Eperdur gave me a scroll of Teleport-Mea.

I now have the ability to teleport to all three of the crags of Vana'diel and even the telepoint in the Altepa Desert.
